Baby and family photography

Baby and family photoshoots are so much fun to be a part of. I love the range of energy that’s present from each stage of a young life. Babies are so still and content (sometimes!), toddlers are manically crawling around with awe and wonder, whilst young children are just ferociously excitable!

Baby and family photoshoot FAQs

If you’re thinking of booking a baby or family photoshoot, you may have a few questions. Here are the answers to a few…

Can parents and siblings be included in newborn photoshoots?

For newborn photoshoots, parents, siblings, even pets are more than welcome to join in. I’m happy to photograph whatever combinations you would like.

Do you offer location photoshoots?

I have a studio based in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire but also offer outdoor photoshoots covering surrounding areas including Redditch, Alvechurch, Worcester, Barnt Green, Studley and Birmingham.

How long do photoshoots last?

Most photoshoots usually last around an hour but I am happy to shorten or extend this time to cater to your child’s needs.

Do you provide props?

I have props in the studio such as blankets, baskets, balloons and decorations. If you have a specific aesthetic in mind, please let me know and I can arrange accordingly. Alternatively, if you’d like to bring your own props, please feel free.

How will I receive my photos?

I will narrow down the best shots from your session and email you a link with the edited images.

What if my child is unsettled during the photoshoot?

Photoshoots can be overwhelming for little ones and I appreciate that every child is different. Some children quickly get into things with a bit of interaction and encouragement, while others ease into things gradually with a bit of time and space. I’m happy to adapt the way the photoshoot is conducted to meet your child’s needs.
